At Check Into Cash, employees are their number one resource. I was asked to create an 'employee retention' campaign, to systematically reward employees for good performance, and to encourage them to stay with CIC and LBP and to further their career. I first started with by looking at the basis for the reward program, which was an increase in salary for weeks of training completed. I thought, to better signify upward movement, and to alert other employees to individual success, that we could use a system of lanyards and pins to help boost morale and participation. A roadmap was also created, to help employees track their own progress and see where they started, and how far they had to go.
